BACKGROUND WORK EXPERIENCE OF PATRICK AUCOIN

            Patrick Aucoin, President/Owner of Aucoin Claims Service, Inc. Since it's conception December 1993, is a certified paralegal, a licensed private investigator, and a licensed comprehensive claims adjuster.  He was the Senior Claim Representative for Falcon Claims Service, Inc. for approximately three years, and prior to that, was the head paralegal for the admiralty section of Lemle & Kelleher Law Firm in New Orleans for six years.

            His duties include all aspects of case investigation, including taking statements from witnesses and claimants, inspecting accident scenes, vessel inspections, safety audits, meeting with and preparing expert witnesses, and reviewing and summarizing medical records.  His efforts include legal research and analysis of such issues as liability, legal causation and seaman's status.  He has acquired considerable experience in negotiating and effecting settlements with seaman and other maritime workers.  During the course of his investigation and adjusting of claims, he has gained considerable knowledge of the jobs and equipment used in the oil patch and on the Mississippi River.

            Walter Kimel has worked for Aucoin Claims Service, Inc. since January of 2008 as a claims adjuster.
